Course Layout Posted for Spring Fling
Posted at 1:14 pm by Toad
The layout for both rounds will be identical and the only hole that is different between divisions is hole #7 in which Junior and Recreational divisions exclusively will tee from the location marked Drop Zone (next to the bridge). Oh, be sure and catch a glimpse of the cool tournament art co-designed by Tim Olsen and Tom Hamilton when checking out the course map. Currently, there are 20 people on the waiting list for Spring Fling. Updates to registration will be posted to both the Mile High forum on this thread and on the Spring Fling event page. If you have questions or comments about the layout (Larry), please post them within this blog post. If you have registration questions, please email toad@milehighdiscgolf.org.

Come out and play real golf
Posted at 7:23 am by Toad If you’re not Tiger Woods or one of his mates on the PGA Tour statistics show that you’re playing less and less ball golf. The New York Times recently posted an article stating that the number of ball golfers declined from 30 million to 26 million since 2000. “There just isn’t enough time to play,” said a former golfer. This is a call to the 4 million of you who abandoned the game you love. Come out to a disc golf course near you and have fun again—you can play two rounds and be home before noon. ©2003-2005 Mile High Disc Golf |
